Nautilus is a private equity fund targeting investments in the energy and the environmental services sectors. We focus on renewable energy and the conversion of various waste materials into thermal energy, alternative liquid fuels and other valuable products. We target sustainable developments where the technologies are already commercial, the markets are large and these business models can be replicated many times.

A Message from the Nautilus Team
With the creation of Nautilus Renewables, LLC, a personal and professional goal of ours has become a reality: we have turned our years of private equity, project finance and investment banking activities to focus on renewable energy, alternative waste management, and environmental services.
Why? We believe that two of the biggest challenges facing our communities, our country and the world also represent some of our most promising business opportunities:
- (1) fossil fuels pollute and won't be around forever, and
- (2) we can do a much better job of handling our waste streams.
Many countries around the world have stopped using landfills and we have been exploring better ways to deal with America's trash. So, over the last few years, we've been building our team and deal flow with a focus on "Practical Green Thinking" - that's our term for using new and existing technologies to capture energy and create useful products from waste streams.
Among the projects we're looking for are opportunities in which we can roll out a proven technology where we finance, build and operate 10-20 plants or more.
